Yoga Therapy involves tailoring the practice of yoga and applying its numerous tools to suit the changing needs and requirements of the individual. Taking into consideration time, place, season, constitution, health status, profession, capability and desire a highly personalised practice can be created to suit each student.
Yoga Therapy can address a broad range of physical, mental, and emotional issues.
How it works
Following an initial consultation, a practice is designed for you to do (ideally daily), taking into account your reasons for seeking the therapy and the amount of time you have available. After a few weekly or fortnightly visits, we meet less frequently; monthly or even every two months, as appropriate, to refine and adapt the practice as your symptoms improve and to support and maintain these improvements.
Yoga Therapy is charged at £40 per hour and usually takes place in your home. Alternative spaces can be found if required, but hire costs will need to be taken into account.
The initial consultation usually takes around 90 minutes and sessions thereafter are usually one hour in duration.
